How Was Virtuo Founded and What Does It Offer Its Users? 

Being an entrepreneur and starting something new is, to put it mildly, challenging. While you fight to survive in the market—then grow—you’re burdened with countless tasks. Virtuo was born from the wish of two people to make life easier for entrepreneurs through their service.

This September we celebrate our birthday—five years of work. Virtuo was “born” and spent its nursery days in the business incubator of the Innovation Center Banja Luka. We felt firsthand how much easier it is to start when someone helps you, and that’s exactly the relationship we build with our clients.

What do we provide users? Easy answer: we save them money! Our clients don’t need an office; they work in the field, from home, or cafés. Why pay rent, electricity, water, heating, or other costs for an office you rarely visit—just so the mail has somewhere to go?

Who Is This Ideal For?

We all aim to make work more pleasant, reduce stress, and be more productive. People whose job requires only a laptop and internet have realized they don’t need to spend the whole day in an office: they can work from a café, a park surrounded by nature, or any place in the world.

For some, the car is their office—they live and work in it every day, driving tens of thousands of kilometers a year. (The state still doesn’t recognize a Škoda Octavia with those plates as a business address :)

We’re part of a global market. Foreigners come, sell their products, source local goods, then sell them abroad—or simply seek better business conditions. Forty-five percent of our users are foreigners—so if you run a company from another country, what you need most is a trustworthy local partner :)

That’s the simplest way to describe most of our users: they all share one need— a place, an address, a registered seat.

Your experience so far—what do clients cite as the biggest benefit of a virtual office?

We’re the business address, the secretary, the meeting room—and, when needed, the desk. We guide you through registration, assist in the jungle of regulations, and act as a trusted partner; if we don’t know something, we find out quickly.

There are two key benefits we deliver:

We save money! Clients pay just a fraction of normal rent and forget about electricity, water, heating, and other office expenses—saving enough for a thirteenth salary, a summer vacation, a winter trip, or even both.

We give freedom! A client gets a business address they never have to visit. Every message and piece of mail arrives on their phone—one less worry.

Why Is Serbia the Next Step?

The experience and know-how we’ve gained, plus the software we’ve developed, can be applied anywhere in the world for this type of business.

Banja Luka, where Virtuo was born, is a small market that limits further growth. We want to keep expanding, so we’ve started opening new locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina—Brčko first—and picked Belgrade as our first location outside BiH.

Why Belgrade? We found an excellent partner! The amazing team at Clever d.o.o. shares our mindset, business culture, and principles. Together we’ll launch Virtuo in Belgrade—and, we hope, other Serbian cities.

How Does Virtuo Stand Out Among Virtual-Address Providers, and What Extra Value Do You Offer?

We see ourselves as a specialized virtual-office provider—that’s our core, and it’s all we do. Specialization lets us dive deep into client needs and craft the right answers.

We’ve moved the entire office workflow to the client’s phone. Through our Android app—and soon iOS—clients have 24/7 access to all daily business info. There’s also a web app so they can reach their data anytime.

What’s the Next Destination—Are You Thinking About It?

Absolutely, but step by step. Right now our focus, with partners, is on Brčko and Belgrade: understanding the challenges of remote locations. Once everything runs smoothly, we’ll look at new sites and entering markets beyond BiH and Serbia.
