When we say “early stage,” we mean that teams need only an idea—researched well enough to convince us it has the potential for scalable growth.
The program is conducted entirely online, and participating teams will have the opportunity to:
- Develop a business model for their idea,
- Craft a value proposition,
- Go through Customer Development and, via interviews, tests, and experiments, reach potential first clients,
- Build a Low-Fidelity MVP,
- Pitch to regional investment funds.
From idea to—hopefully—first customers, users, or testers, participants will progress with support from regional experts: active members of the startup ecosystem, serial entrepreneurs, and people who run or invest in startups. Supporting our teams this year are Josipa Majić, Luka Sučić, Miro Hegedić, Filip Stipančić, Jan Kobler, Luka Prišunjak, and Peter Bruner.
The application deadline is 20 September 2020. Ten teams will be selected to work actively on their ideas from 1 October to 10 December.
The KATALIZATOR program is organized by START Center and VIRTUO from Banja Luka, with support from Swiss Entrepreneurship Program, EBRD, Infobip Startup Tribe, South Central Ventures, Fil Rouge Capital, ICT Hub Ventures, Vitosha Venture Partners, StartIN, Startup Grind Sarajevo, Science and Technology Park Belgrade, NoLimit Hub, Business Incubator Novi Sad, Startup Macedonia, and Vestbee, plus media partners Netokracija and The Recursive.
